Clearview HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere)

Clearview HOPE is a unique, year-round, cost-free recreational and therapeutic golf program specifically for women veterans. It is one of two instructional opportunities at Clearview Golf Club for those who have served in the military. Both programs are officially sanctioned by the PGA of America.

In addition to Clearview HOPE, Clearview Golf Club also hosts the PGA HOPE program for male veterans, which runs from spring to fall. Clearview was the first golf facility in Ohio to offer programs for both male and female veterans.

Clearview HOPE and PGA HOPE are open to veterans from all branches of the military, and prior golf experience is not required.

Each year, the program starts with six weeks of lessons, followed by regular play and ongoing instruction every Friday throughout the golf season. Instruction provided by LPGA/PGA Head Professional Renee Powell, a PGA of America Hall of Famer.

During the winter months, Clearview HOPE continues with indoor golf clinics, social events, and service projects.

Program highlights:

  • Exclusively for women veterans

  • Open to all eras of service

  • Completely cost-free

We sincerely appreciate the sacrifices you’ve made for our country.
